Description
Indonesia has no nuclear power project yet. Electricity is relatively new in Indonesia. It was introduced in 1897 by the Dutch, during the Dutch colonial period. The utilisation by then was only for residential purposes, street lighting, plantations, etc. In 1942 the total installed capacity was about 130 Mw; with a population of 65 million, this meant only about 2 watt/capita installed or 6 Kwh/capita production.
