Description
The paper informs on the state of nuclear power in the European Community and on its requirement of nuclear fuels, then goes on to deal particularly with the supply of nuclear fuels to the Community. This includes both the supply with natural uranium and the supply of services in the nuclear fuel cycle. The problems are pointed out that are relevant to the safeguarding of a basically adequate supply into the next century. (UA)

Nach einem Ueberblick ueber den Stand der Kernenergie in der Europaeischen Gemeinschaft und ihren Bedarf an Kernbrennstoffen wird insbesondere die Versorgung der Gemeinschaft mit Kernbrennstoffen behandelt. Dabei geht es sowohl um die Versorgung mit Natururan als auch um die Versorgung mit Diensten des Kernbrennstoffkreislaufs. Es wird auf die Probleme hingewiesen, die eine grundsaetzlich ausreichende Versorgung bis ins naechste Jahrhundert tangieren. (UA)Additional details
