Prepared contributions by invited groups and organisations

The final group of papers in the Nuclear Energy Forum were contributions from invited Welsh groups and organisations such as MADRYN, PANDORA, CND, local planning authorities and the anti-nuclear alliance. All upheld the view that public opinion was against the dumping of radioactive wastes in Wales. A representative from the NRPB described the range of scientific research into radiation protection and health hazards, particularly after possible accidents, and emphasised its contribution to the making of balanced judgements with regard to waste disposal.
