Description
We demonstrate by two independent methods that, contrary to the claims of other authors, there is no discrepancy between various pion form factor data sets in the spacelike region and the reliable timelike region. In both cases the obtained reasonable value of the ππ scattering length a11 and an excellent agreement of the pion form factor phase with data on P wave isovector ππ phase shift also ensure compatibility of all pion form factor data with the behaviour of the phase shift.
