Description

The measurement of the spectral shape and the angular distribution of the GDR photons provide important information of shape transition in nuclei at finite temperature and fast rotation. Here we report on the theoretical calculation of shape transition in 169Tm nuclei, having large ground state deformation, and can be populated by the reaction 4He + 165Ho at low temperatures (T<1)
