Phase transformations in the system V2O5-NaI
Description
NaI interacts with V2O5 in the 150-260 deg C temperature range with formation of two phases of the general formula: Nasub(x)Vsub(2)Osub(5): α-phase 0<x<=0.02 and α'-phase 0.7<=x<=1.0. At higher temperatures these phases interact with each other and air oxygen with formation of β-phase, Nasub(x)Vsub(3)Osub(8-y) bronze and sodium metavanadate. Structural transformations of vanadium (5) oxide depending on x in Nasub(x)Vsub(2)Osub(5) are analyzed by IR spectra
