Description
A different method exists for quantizing classical systems. It consists in considering the field q(t) as a stochastic process. This approach is equivalent to the traditional one, but is less revolutionary. It is remarkable, nonetheless, in its own way; it communicates between two worlds, the Euclidean and Minkowski space-times. This connection is investigated here in the nonrelativistic framework. It turns out that the Euclidean Schroedinger equation and the Fokker-Planck equation in Minkowski space are associated with the same Markoff field
