Effects of interrelations between electronic and nuclear motions in the processes of resonant two-electron charge exchange
Description
The relative velocity of the nuclear movement has been studied for its effect on the two-electron exchange interaction potential magnitude in collision of ions with atoms in the framework of asymptotic theory. It is shown that the allowance for the velocity of translational movement of the nuclei leads to the exponential dependence of the exchange interaction potential on the velocity. The suggested formalism is tested through the example of calculation of the double electron capture cross sections of α - particles from He atoms
