Optimizing the use of bias corrections in minimizing the variance of MUF
Description
A method for apportioning the effort used in making bias corrections to measurement processes is described. The variance of the error of bias corrections to measurement processes is part of the variance of material unaccounted for (MUF). A method of minimizing this part of the MUF variance for a total cost constraint is examined
