Description
The ILU-6EB accelerator facility has been functioning at BARC-BRIT complex, Navi Mumbai since 2001 as a technology demonstration facility and it is being utilized for industrial material processing viz. polymer modifications, crystalline alterations etc. This report briefly gives an account of the facility characteristics, safety features and the activities. Recent upgradation of the accelerator from 2 MeV to 5 MeV has been briefly mentioned in this report. (author)
