The preparation and clinical application of 99mTc-HSA instant kit

Description
The preparation and preliminary clinical application of 99mTc-HSA instant kit are reported. The data show that the radiochemical purity of 99mTc-HSA prepared by the method discribed is > 97%. Its stability is excellent in vitro and it can be left at room temperature for more than 2 hours. The T1/2 for disappearance of radio activity from the blood was 243 minutes. Sn-HSA kits can be stored at 2 ∼ 4 deg C for 3 months. By the use of 99mTc-HSA, the liver blood pool imaging and the gated cardiac blood pool imaging were performed satisfactoryly in 30 and 102 cases respectively. No toxic effects were observed in the patients examined. The authors are of the opinion that 99mTc-HSA prepared by the method is a successful agent for various blood pool imaging and is suitable for routine use
