Description
The levels of 3H, ranging from < 1.3∼18.6 Bq/L, higher than background were measured in two monitoring wells in the vicinity of the reactor at Daya Bay NPP, without accumulation effect, but depending upon rainfall. The survey indicated that 3H is from gaseous and liquid effluents from the NPP, which is its seepage into well water together with rainfall through dried deposition and retention in grassland downstream.
