Research on nuclear safety assessment criteria
Description
Frameworks of criteria is proposed for the assessment of risk from accidents in nuclear reactors, including the limits and objective values for individual and societal risks. It is suggested that the limit for occupational individual risk in site is 10-4/man · a, 10-5/man · a for the public outside the site boundary and 10-4-10-5/man · a for the public on the site boundary. The nominal objective values could be taken as 10% of above. The limits and objective values for societal risk adopted D. J. Higson's suggestion should be reasonable
