Economic viability of closed nuclear fuel cycles
Description
The article presents an analysis of closed fuel cycles application's economic benefits. The closed cycles contribute to the quantity reduction of long-lived isotopes accumulated in spent nuclear fuels. The cost of different stages of the fuel cycle is reviewed and the economic weight of spent fuels reprocessing over the total cost is analysed
