Isoscalar and isovector quadrupole capture of nucleons

Description
The radiative capture of 5-50 MeV nucleons is investigated taking into account isoscalar and isovector quadrupole contributions. For incident energies greater than 20 MeV, similar cross-section values are obtained for E2 capture both of neutrons and of protons, though the dominant mechanisms are different. (Auth.)
