Description

Phase composition, structure, tensile properties, static and cyclic crack resistance are studied in maraging steels of Fe-Ni-Cr-Co-Mo-Ti, Fe-Ni-Cr-Mo-Ti and Fe-Ni-Co-Mo-Ti systems. The steels contained retained and reversed austenite. Specific features of strain-induced γ-α transformation in a fracture zone are revealed after various heat treatments. The introduction of certain quantity of metastable austenitic phase is shown to be an effective measure to enhance strength properties of maraging steels
