Nondiffusive toroidal-momentum-transport in the JFT-2M tokamak plasmas
- 1. National Inst. for Fusion Science, Toki, Gifu (Japan)
Description
A nondiffusive term in the toroidal-momentum-transport equation is evaluated by the analysis of the transport of toroidal rotation in the transient phase, where the direction of neutral beam injection is changed from parallel to the plasma current to antiparallel. The ratio of nondiffusive viscosity coefficient to diffusive viscosity coefficient is evaluated to be 0.1 to 0.3, which increases as the plasma current is decreased. Nondiffusive momentum transport is found to be in proportion to ∇Ti. (author)
