Case report 385: 'Horned crests': Pseudo-Fong syndrome

A 36-year-old man developed in a two-year-period bony protrubances arising from the posterior crest of the iliac bones bilaterally and almost symmetrically suggesting the Fong syndrome. CT demonstrated that the bony processes were indeed in soft tissues and not connected to the iliac bones, suggesting strongly the diagnosis of myositis ossificans, probably post-traumatic in origin.
