Description

Energy spectra, intensity and composition of the CERN to Gran Sasso CNGS neutrino beam for νμ->ντ and νμ->νe oscillation searches are presented. The associated beam systematics, which is the major ingredient for the νμ->νe search sensitivity, are obtained from the study of the previous CERN West Area Neutrino Beam
