Problems and prospects of rehabilitation within 30-km zone of ChNPP

Description

Sr-90 and Cs-137 are presented as contaminating agents in approximately equal proportions within the 30-km zone of ChNPP. Pu-239, -240 contents are by a factor of 102 lower. In the nearest years there is the possibility of increasing Sr-90 biological availability as a result of fuel matrix destruction. Medico-biological information to substantiate the possible population relocation to less contaminated districts of the 30-km zone; promotion of agricultural production and forestry is needed
