The effect of hexadecapole deformations on E1 transition strengths
- 1. Zentralinstitut fuer Kernforschung, Rossendorf bei Dresden (German Democratic Republic)
Description
The drastic change of the B(E1) values for the transitions 7/2+ [404] reversible 7/2 [523] in odd-mass Ho and Tm isotopes is explained in terms of variations of the hexadecapole deformation parameter epsilon4. (Auth.)
