Opportunity note on osmotic energy with the use of the water release from the Sainte-Rose hydroelectric plant
Description
After a description of the situation of the hydroelectric plant of the Eastern River of the Reunion Island and of its releases, this report presents the concept of osmotic energy and describes the operation of an osmotic energy plant. The objective is to find a solution to this direct release into the sea, and to the non use of fresh water taken from the river for the hydroelectric plant, and to take this example as an opportunity to develop an osmotic energy project in the Reunion Island
