On acidic and catalytic properties of HNaY zeolites containing lanthanum, cerium and calcium cations

Description
The activity of four zeolites of the Y type containing lanthanum, cerium and calcium cations along with the hydrogen ones in the reaction of cumene dealkylation in a flowing installation at 300 grad C is studied. The possibility of utilization of the samples after regeneration is shown. The presence of proton, as well as aproton acidic centres is established according to infra-red spectra of absorbed pyridine. The polyvalent cations promote the increase of aproton acidity. The activity in the cumene dealkylination reaction increases in the HNaY<CeHNaY<CaHNaY<LaHNaY series
