Experience gained in the training of nuclear power plant operating personnel with nuclear power plant simulators
Description
The simulator of a PWR-type reactor with 1.200 MW was accomplished in September 1977. In January 1978, the simulator of a BWR-type reactor with 800 MW started operation. The American company Singer/Link supplied computer hardware and software; Kraftwerk Union AG supplied control room equipment, power plant data and acted as consulting engineers for the construction and acceptance of the simulators. This way it is ensured that the simulated process reflects the state of German nuclear engineering. (orig./DG)

Der Simulator eines DWR-Kernkraftwerkes mit 1200 MW wurde im September 1977 fertiggestellt. Im Januar 1978 ging der Simulator eines SWR-Kernkraftwerkes mit 800 MW in Betrieb. Waehrend die amerikanische Firma Singer/Link die Rechner-Hardware und -Software lieferte, trug die Kraftwerk Union AG durch Lieferung der Simulatorwarten, der Kraftwerksdaten sowie durch Ingenieurberatung beim Bau und bei der Abnahme der Simulatoren bei. Dadurch wurde sichergestellt, dass der simulierte Prozess die deutsche Kernkraftwerkstechnologie widerspiegelt. (orig./DG)
