The restraint of the tearing modes in tokamak

Description
In this article, the restraint of the spontaneous tearing modes caused by RHF is analyzed and calculated by solving the resistive MHD equations. We prove that the growth rate of the tearing modes of m = 2 can be reduced about two times by the helical fields. The restraint of the tearing modes by the boundary controlled field is also discussed and calculated numerically
