Constraints on the nucleation rate in extended inflation

Description
We study the newly proposed extended inflation models in detail. We show through explicit examples that the ω(Φ) generalization of the original extended inflation might not be satisfactory because of severe constraints on the nucleation rate. Other possibilities should be explored
