Description
Triple differential cross section calculations (TDCSs) for the ionization of several valence orbitals of the water molecule by electron and positron impact are reported. We found a very good agreement with the experimental data in case of the almost spherical 2A1 orbital. By changing the projectile's charge, significant differences were observed between the electron and positron TDCSs. We may conclude that for positron projectiles the ionization of the target is more probable at the binary region and at low ejection angles compared to the ionization by electron projectiles
