Description
The electromagnetic penguin decays are predicted to be sensitive to New Physics in many Standard Model extensions. In this paper we discuss the reconstruction of the B0 → K*0γ and Bs0 → φγ decays with the LHCb detector. The annual yields and background to signal ratios are estimated for these decays. Statistical accuracy in direct CP asymmetry in B0 → K*0γ decay is expected to be better than 1%, while Bs0 → φγ decay rate could be measured with statistical accuracy better than 2%. (author)
