Microstructure and optical properties of Cu doped CdS nanostructured thin Films

Description
In the present work, we have synthesized pure CdS and Cu doped CdS thin films using chemical bath deposition technique. The crystal structure and the grain size of the particles were studied using XRD. The optical absorption spectra of the samples were recorded using UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer. The optical properties have been discussed in light of the microstructure of nanostructured thin films and the role of dopant. (paper)
