Description

We have been developing a new space dosimeter named ''Position Sensitive Tissue Equivalent Proportional Counter (PS-TEPC)'' with tissue equivalency and position sensitivity. The detector with the conductive tissue-equivalent plastics as a drift cage was irradiated using He ions with the energies of 230 MeV/n. The energy resolution of 17% (σ) was obtained from the distribution of energy deposited in the detector. (author)
