Description

The electrochemical reduction of uranyl perchlorate -SSA (Sulpho-salicylic acid) complex was studied cyclic voltammetrically in the pH range of 2-6 by using supporting electrolyte 0.1M KNO3. The cyclic voltammograms were recorded at different voltage scan rates, so as to understand the diffusion controlled nature of the electrode reaction as well as the reversibility of the electrode reaction. Kinetic parameters transfer coefficients αna and Ks,h were calculated for all the pH values studied
