High energy hadron-nucleus collisions, nucleus-nucleus collisions and new particles

Description

Specifically, I will discuss the problem of energy variation of cross sections and problems of relating hadron-nucleus cross sections to hadron-hadron cross sections; current status of search and discovery of new particles and phenomena; new results on nucleus-nucleus interactions using beams from heavy ion accelerators and characteristics of hadron nuclear interactions. Der Bericht diskutiert das Problem der Energievariation von Wirkungsquerschnitten und Probleme der Inbezugsetzung von Hadron-Kern-Wirkungsquerschnitten; den augenblicklichen Stand der Forschung und die Entdeckung neuer Teilchen und Erscheinungen; neue Ergebnisse ueber Kern-Kern-Wechselwirkungen mit Hilfe von Strahlen aus Schwerionenbeschleunigern und Merkmale von Hadron-Kern-Wechselwirkungen.
