Irradiation report MOPS C 02
Description
Automatic translation: The MOPS C 02 experiment, consisting of a rinsed upper capsule with capsule with 8 Nukem-Compacts and a closed lower capsule with lower capsule with 9 Belgo-Nucleaire pellets, was irradiated in the irradiated in the BR 2-Mol for 247 full load days. At a target temperature of the graphite shell of 1000°C, a fast fluence (E 0.1 MeV) of 5 x 1021 nvt and a burnup of 15.8% fima were achieved. The fission gas release increased at the end of the irradiation to R/B values of 10-3. The experiment served primarily as a rig test.
Abstract (German)
Das Experiment MOPS C 02, bestehend aus einer gespülten oberen Kapsel mit 8 Nukem-Compacts und einer geschlossenen unteren Kapsei mit 9 Pellets von Belgo-Nucleaire, wurde im BR 2-Mol 247 Vollasttage bestrahlt. Bei einer Zieltemperatur der Graphithülle von 1000°C wurden in der oberen Kapsel eine Schnelle Fluenz (E 0,1 MeV) von 5 x 1021 nvt und ein Abbrand von 15,8% fima erreicht. Die Spaltgasfreisetzung stieg am Ende der Bestrahlung auf R/B-Werte von 10-3 an. Der Versuch diente in erster Linie als Rigtest.Files
