Systematic patterns in the E1 decays in 21Ne and 23Na: a means of identifying high spin states
Description
The E1 decays from members of the lowest Ksup(π)=1/2- bands in 21Ne and 23Na are shown to exhibit remarkable, but dissimilar, patterns, which can be reproduced with a simple two-parameter expression. This may have useful application in identifying high-spin members of the Ksup(π)=1/2- and 3/2+ bands in both nuclei. (orig.)

Die E1-Uebergaenge von Mitgliedern der niedersten Ksup(π)=1/2- Banden in 21Ne und 23Na zeigen bemerkenswerte, jedoch unterschiedliche Strukturen, die durch einen einfachen Ausdruck mit zwei Parametern beschrieben werden koennen. Moeglicherweise ergibt sich daraus eine nuetzliche Anwendung bei der Identifizierung von Zustaenden mit grossem Spin der Ksup(π)=1/2- und 3/2+ Banden in beiden Kernen. (orig.)Additional details
