Improvements in radiography
Description
A Video viewing system in combination with a continuously pulsing X-ray fluoroscopy system is described. Improvement of video picture quality is claimed. The patent describes a source of X-ray trigger pulses at a given frequency generating pulses at this frequency, a fluorescent screen for image formation, a video signal utilization device, a video viewing system and other equipment relating. Video viewing systems allow qualitative assessments of events within gas turbine engines to be made, particularly the sequence of engine seal movement. (U.K.)
