The Nuclear Data Interface (NDI) can be described as: Standardized methodology for accessing and manipulating nuclear data; An API that accesses nuclear data while hiding underlying details from the user; Created to enable codes to access nuclear data without knowledge of a specific library format, content, or location; Both a code and ASCII data format (just to be confusing); Not continuous energy (that's what NDATK is for).
