Risk management technologies for nuclear power
Description
It is meaningful for development of nuclear power to investigate the trends and to provide a forum of discussion on research and development of comprehensive risk management technologies that are not restricted within application to nuclear safety regulation. The committee on risk management technologies for nuclear power was established therefore and worked for two years to look into elementary technologies, integration technologies, application cases, and trends in areas other than nuclear industry. The committee carried out investigation and discussion on technological and social issues concerning operation management and decision-making for large-scale and complex systems, and then their applicability to nuclear industry. This report summarizes the outcomes of this investigation and discussion. (author)
