The monograph is subdivided into eight chapters each devoted to specific theme focusing on environmental aspects. The first four chapters are devoted to water management and how it enhances the life, the character of water resources, relevant legal and equity related to the obligation to share, maintenance of water quality and standards and especially the consequences of polluting water. The second part of the publication is devoted to the problems of drought and desertification. The issues discussed include the limitation of the deserts in social-economic development. The interactions of desertification and climate and human activities is given emphases.
