Improvements in or relating to compositions for detecting x-ray radiation

Description

An iodine containing cholestrogenic compound was adapted to give a visual indication of x-ray radiation indicative of the dosage of the radiation incident thereon. It comprises a substrate having deposited thereon a layer of at least one cholesterol derivative capable of forming liquid crystals and of exhibiting a shift of the color play temperature range from which the amount of the dosage can be measured.
