Description
Highlights: • Molecular Statics simulation is used to study the interaction between an edge dislocation and small size point defect clusters at 0K. • The interaction has been parameterized in terms of binding energy and capture radius. • The anisotropy of the interaction has been described in detail. • A criterion to distinguish between absorbed and trapped defects has been provided. • The present results contain the information needed in OKMC models to properly characterize edge dislocations as sinks.
