Bimetrical formalism and observables in the general relativity theory

  • 1. Moskovskij Aviatsionnyj Inst. (USSR)

Description

Some difficulties are discussed inherent to the bimetrical formalism of the gravitational interaction theory. Gravitational field is treated as a simple physical field in a plane space. Equations of a particle motion in a gravitational field and the corresponding Einstein field equations are drawn. The difficulties of the bimetrical formalism are attributed to nonobservability of the Euclidean plane space geometry in the general relativity theory. The curvative tensor is the simplest observable gravitational field parameter. The analysis of a gravitational field in small areas indicates a close analogy to electrodynamics thus enabling to reduce most of the gravitational field problems to similar ones in electrodynamics
