The uranium enrichment plant in the Tricastin area, built and operated by Eurodif, represents a fundamental stage in the cycle of nuclear fuel for light water reactors. After a review of the various processes, the gas diffusion process is described and the Tricastin plant presented whose complete capacity has been reached in 1982

L'usine d'enrichissement de l'uranium du Tricastin, construite et exploitee par Eurodif, constitue une etape fondamentale du cycle de combustible nucleaire des reacteurs a eau legere. Apres un survol des divers procedes, on decrit le procede de diffusion gazeuse et presente l'usine du Tricastin, dont le demarrage s'est acheve en 1982
