Description

An overview is presented of the main features and capabilities of the multidimensional finite element neutral particle radiation transport code EVENT. The code is the practical outcome of investigations in the UK on the application of the finite element and spherical harmonics methods to the solution of radiation transport problems. Though strictly not a finished product, even in its present stage of development, EVENT is an extremely competitive and powerful tool for the solution of a wide range of realistic radiation transport problems.
