Several accelerator designs are discussed in search for a greater than 1 TeV electron accelerator. The types considered are linear accelerators, the inverse Cerenkov accelerators, the wiggler (inverse free electron laser), plasma accelerators, and the grating accelerator. A table is given which compares 1 TeV examples for each accelerator. 14 references, 8 figures
