The CDF Detector and the first Jet Physics
Description
An overview of the collider detector at Fermilab (CDF) is presented. The performance of the detector for identification and energy measurement of electrons and jets is described. Preliminary results of analysis of jet events on the jet inclusive cross section, the scaling cross section and the two-jet angular distribution are reported. QCD predictions are consistent with the experimental results
