Negative hydrogen ion production by low energy hydrogen atom bombardment of surfaces
Description
A hydrogen furnace was used to irradiate a molybdenum surface with a flux of low energy hydrogen atoms. A small fraction of the hydrogen atoms were observed to be backscattered as negative ions when Cs was evaporated onto the surface. (Auth.)
