The specialists' lectures held at a closed meeting seminar in Gerlos (Tyrol) on the subject of disposal are summarized in two volumes to a status report. It deals with the entire manifold problem complex from electricity supply, fuel element production, safety technical designs, reprocessing up to safe ultimate storage of radioactive wastes. The problems of head ends, purex process and of the treatment and storage of different radioactive wastes are discussed in volume 2. (HPH)

Abstract (German)

Die auf einem Klausurseminar in Gerlos (Tirol) gehaltenen Fachvortraege zum Thema Entsorgung sind in zwei Baenden zu einem Statusbericht zusammengefasst. Er behandelt den gesamten vielschichtigen Fragenkomplex von der Elektrizitaetsversorgung, der Herstellung von Brennelementen, sicherheitstechnischen Auslegungen, der Wiederaufarbeitung bis zur sicheren Endlagerung radioaktiver Abfaelle. Besonders eingehend werden im Band 2 die Probleme des head ends, des Purex Prozesses und der Behandlung und Lagerung der verschiedenen radioaktiven Abfaelle besprochen. (HPH)
