D*± production in 250 GeV π-N interactions

Description
The authors report a measurement of the differential cross section with respect to Feynman-x and transverse momentum for D*± charm vector mesons produced with incident π-- and π+ on targets of Be, Al, Cu and W. They reconstruct the decays D*+ → D0π+, and D0 → K-π+, K-π+π-π+ and K-π+π0 and their charge conjugates. They also compare these results with those of D0 and D+ charm pseudoscalar mesons
