Stimulated scattering instabilities of electromagnetic waves in strongly coupled plasmas

Description

The nonlinear interaction between large-amplitude electromagnetic waves and new collective low-frequency modes of dense strongly coupled two-component plasmas has been considered. We present specific results for growth rates and thresholds of stimulated Brillouin scattering as well as modulational instabilities. (orig.)
