Effect of reaction medium composition on catalytic properties of V-Te-Mo-O contact in oxidation of propylene and isobutylene

  • 1. L'vovskij Politekhnicheskij Inst. (Ukrainian SSR)

Description

A study has been made of the effect of isobutylene concentration on the reduction degree of a V-Te-Mo-O catalyst under steady-state conditions (v:Te:Mo = 2.5:1.5:6). Catalytic properties of contact with various reduction degrees are determined in a pulse reactor for the oxidation reaction of propylene and isobutylene. Characteristics of the catalysts, reduction degrees and specific surface, grow as the isobutylene concentration in the initial mixture increases. Simultaneously the phase composition of contacts varies
